Spring Cleaning

My apartment is usually pretty clean. I have people over here quite a bit and I don't really worry about messes. But the people who come over here don't live here so they don't know about my secret hiding places, nor do they notice the deep cleaning that could be done. I'm a really good surface cleaner, but I'm not a fan of deep cleaning. But for some reason this weekend I decided to "spring clean" for probably the first time in my life. I love living by myself, but the downside is that I can't blame messes on roommates. I went and bought a new little shelf for my dining room to de-clutter my kitchen a bit. And I also got a couple little hanging storage things for a couple of my closets. Buying stuff for my house motivates me to clean.

Braden wanted to do something last night, so he came over and took me to dinner at this new little Thai place called Sawnedee, or Sawlawee or something like that. It was really good. Braden and I have so much fun together, it's ridiculous. We never hang out without crying from laughing so much. But we decided that sometime we wanna bring people with us when we hang out but not allow them to talk, they just have to observe us. We don't think anyone gets us, so this would be a test. I love laughing, and Braden definitely gets the most of it out of me these days.

Anyway, after dinner I tricked him into coming over to put my shelf together. He's an awesome handy man. (I use him a lot.) He did a great job and he did it like a billion times faster than I could have.

I just sat and watched...

And took pictures...

And I got kinda bored so I read a recipe book to him...he loved that.

After he finished I made us some awesome smoothies in my magic bullet and then we watched some Office. The cleaning is coming right along. Maybe I'll have that house warming party I mentioned a few months ago. I need to put pictures on here for my out of state and out of country friends who have asked for pictures of my place...sorry guys, I'll do that when it's super clean. Give me a couple days.
