RHS Class of '98

Last night was my 10 year high school reunion. I graduated from high school 10 years ago! (I use the term "graduated" loosely.) I did walk and get the diploma with everyone else, but I'm pretty sure I waited until the very last minute to get all the papers in and attendance credit make-up fee's payed, etc. There's a handful of us that owe a certain someone a big thanks for getting our butts in gear the last few weeks of high school, but we all made it and we all turned out fine! (I also use the term "fine" loosely.) It was a really fun night. We had it at this cool botanical garden park in Ogden. There was a catered dinner, live music, prizes, a pole dancing contest (kinda weird), and our senior class video playing over and over and over. A few too many close ups of me and Bryan singing "Forevers as far as I'll go" at home coming. I had a mega crush on him when we got picked to sing the home coming song our senior year. And last night I got to see him kiss me on the cheek several times. That was so cheesy. Speaking of cheesy, what ever happened to it being cool to have a super curly up-do with babies breath stuck in your hair?

It was fun to catch up with old friends and it was good to see that the little dumb high school things don't matter at all and we can all get along and like each other. As a whole I'd say we all did pretty good at maturing 10 years. It kinda made me miss high school. We had way too much fun. There were a few faces missing that I would have loved to see, but there were quite a few there that I didn't really expect to see.

Here are the few pictures I took. I felt a little pressure from this post to get them up!

I don't really know how to end this, so, Go Royals, Go Royals, Gooooo! (sing it)

So, I pretty much recognized everyone in your pictures, but the girl you are in the picture with, the picture of you and two boys and some girl? Picture like 6, explain to me who they are. That is so weird to see everyone! Did Mandi and Brandi go? I saw Jason a while back, I took care of his wife after she delivered! Anyway, e-mail me and tell me how it went!

I'm going to need a private demonstration of the pole dancing.

Joni,

That picture is: Zach Bishop, Me, Travis Glenn, D'Lynn Carter. Crazy huh?? A lot of people changed a ton, and of course a few didn't change at all. It was a lot of fun. Where were you??

Bryon,

You got it! But I gotta say, Paul Summers is a tough act to follow...I'll do what I can. ;)

I am totally bummed that I didn't get to go. Fri night I had school and I tried to get out of it, but I had a stupid test. Saturaday, I worked from 5am til 5pm, by the time i got out of work it was 6 pm and I didn't think I had time to run home change, try to look normal and get back up there. But now I wish I would have. I really wanted to see everyone. Katie Lindley is my neighbor and she said it was fun too. When you get time you will have to tell me stories!

Paul summers did NOT pole dance! I'm gonna need more proof. Who's idea was the pole dance anyway? That's a little risque for Roy isn't it? Oh, wait...it is very Roy!

PS...I was so sad I couldn't go, I went to the bar Saturday night in Roy High Class of '98's behalf. I cheers you guys several times...then made out with the guy that sold me my convertible. I figured that was a very "roy" thing to do. Small towns...gotta love 'em! ;)

hoov...did you let your top down...on your convertible?

Good job hoov, way da pay tribute to Roy and the class of '98. I would expect nothing less. I really wish you would have been there though, good times! And yes, Paul really did pole dance. I got a couple pictures but I'm kicking myself for not flipping the camera to video mode.

Bryon, my top did not come down. it was too hot for that...so we just fondled over top of it in true roy fashion...actually we would have needed a blanket for TRUE ROY-ness! ha ha. Ange I wanted to be there, but it just could not be...I'll be at the 20...at which time i'll still probably be making out with used car salesmen. ;)
