multi-tasking

This post could have been titled a couple of different things that would have been applicable.

Like: Men, Mars/Women, Venus. or,
Do we have to talk about this now?? or,
Women want to understand men and men have given up on understanding women.

Anyway, just FYI, this post might be TMI. But I'll keep it clean.

Last night as Paul and I were laying in bed. (He'd been there for a few minutes and I'd just come to bed.) I was freezing and he cuddled up to me. Then...ya know...he started to...ya know...

And I started to...ya know... No, I don't think you do know. I started to tell him that I was gonna do laundry in the morning so anything not in the basket that he needed washed needed to be added in the morning, and that I wanted to get up early so who's gonna shower first, I told him my doctor appointment was at 9, I asked when he was getting up... He finally stopped and said, "Do we have to talk about this stuff right now?!"

I started to laugh, and he started to laugh. Men and women are so different! I apologized, and...ya know...but then, I don't know what was wrong with me, I just blurted out, "Well, I think we're both tired and its late but this is all stuff that I have to tell you at some point before we go to sleep so we may as well kill two birds with one stone!"

Everything probably would have taken less time if I'd just kept my mouth shut and enjoyed, but needless to say, everything eventually got said AND done before we went to sleep.

Marriage is great.

We love each other so much and have so much fun everyday.

But we're glad we have the rest of our lives to figure all this male/female, sex/talking, patience, communication, love stuff out.

I'll probably have to apologize for this post later, but for now, sorry babe. Love you!

Just remember that is will take your lifetime to figure each other out. I loved living above g&g because one thing I took away from them was that even they still have frustrations with each other, etc...after zillions of years together. Marriage is hard...but so great too. Keep up the humor and you guys will do fine!!!

Lecture over. Did I just sound too much like my mom just then? :)
